James specialises in all aspects of commercial property work. Whilst having a background in development and institutional investment work, James now focuses more on the retail and leisure sector acting primarily for end user occupiers including a number of well known high street retail operators, bar & restaurant chains, gyms, casinos and live music venues.
In addition, James acts (in a Landlord/developer capacity) for leisure investment companies including Capital & Regional Plc’s X-Leisure fund on acquisitions, disposals and management work across their portfolio of branded leisure parks.
James also heads up FSI’s
Hotels Group and acts for a number of independent, mid-market hotel operators including the Splendid Hotel Group who own and operate a significant number of both budget and luxury hotels in central and greater London.

Random Fact
James is a keen squash and tennis player (member of the Queen’s Club in West London) and enjoys golf, skiing and running. James also plays the drums in an amateur rock band!
