More good medicine:FSI advise York Pharma on their second acquisition this year
FSI advised AIM listed client, York Pharma, on the conditional acquisition of Derms Development Limited (‘Derms Development’), a specialist dermatology business with a wide distribution platform, products and revenues, for £17.5 million. In conjunction with this acquisition, the FSI AIM team advised York Pharma on its £5.35m fundraising by secondary placing.
This deal follows the acquisition of Rosanto Pharmaceuticals Limited back in April. Partner Nilam Statham who ran the deal commented “this was another important acquisition for York Pharma and further enhances their position in the dermatological field. We are delighted to continue to play a part in York Pharma’s ongoing expansion”. Head of AIM Ashley Reedback said “this deal is a good example of the team working together to combine deal making skills with AIM expertise”.
Ian Harvey, Finance Director at York Pharma commented: “in terms of commitment, technical and commercial ability and problem solving skills I’d give Nilam and the FSI team 12/10”.
