Louise undertakes all forms of corporate law with particular focus on venture capital, private equity, M&A, AIM transactional work and corporate advice. She advises a range of clients including entrepreneurs, high growth start-ups, SMEs and public companies. Whilst advising across a broad range of sectors, Louise has particular experience in technology, digital media, marcoms and renewable energy.

Louise recently took part in a “Digital Mission” to Washington, a trade mission accompanying 11 digital media and technology focused companies exploring new business opportunities and/or expansion in the U.S. She will also be attending SXSW in Austin in March 2012.

She is also a mentor for Creative School of Startups, founded by ex-Dragons’ Den investor and serial entrepreneur Doug Richard.

Louise sits on the board of The Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) U.K, a non profit organisation for mid-market dealmakers in the UK.

Recent work advising:

• advising early stage tech companies on rounds of funding from angel through to larger rounds
• advising a crowd-funding platform including regulatory advice
• advising an app developer client on an investment round and commercial revenue share agreement
• AIM listed ZOO Digital Group plc on a placing of new shares raising funds of approximately £1.7 million and a restructuring of all of the Company's outstanding convertible loan notes, amounting to £3.54 million, which were due to mature on 31 October 2011.
• high growth start-ups on shareholders agreements, commercial contracts, terms and conditions and raising finance
• the sellers of a media company acquired by a listed entity in connection with their earn out
• the sellers of a digital media agency in connection with the sale of the company to an AIM listed marketing services agency
• a private equity company focused in the renewable energy sector in relation to the acquisition of two water purification / filtration companies for undisclosed sums
• a specialist architectural glazing company in connection with the acquisition of a company in the same sector
• a solar energy company in connection with commercial supply and distribution contracts with Chinese companies
   

Random fact:

Louise speaks fluent French, intermediate German and basic Italian. She is interested in tech and digital/new media and is overly attached to her iPad. Louise also once rode Red Rum.
