Gillian White
Solicitor: Corporate
Gillian trained and qualified at FSI and is now a solicitor in the corporate department. She advises on corporate and commercial matters including AIM admission and corporate restructuring for AIM listed companies (advising both brokers and companies), company M&As, asset sales and corporate restructuring for private companies. Gillian also specialises in commercial contracts including terms and conditions of business, licensing, agency and distribution contracts, confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements, e-commerce, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements including shareholder agreements.
In addition Gillian has a post graduate diploma in UK, EC and US copyright from Kings College London and advises on Intellectual Property aspects of commercial and corporate transactions. Before her legal career Gillian worked for a London auction house and has practical and commercial expertise in the auction and arts industries.

Gillian had a joint article published in IMI on Creative Commons and contributed three articles to the IP and Media department’s publication Brighter Future. She recently spoke at FSI’s seminar on Ethical Fashion in connection with director’s duties.
Random Fact
Gillian enjoys travelling and whilst in Namibia appreciated the spectacle of the Skeleton Coast from the harness of a parachute. When in London she enjoys going to gigs and has recently seen the Underworld, Justice, the Guillemots, Sigur Ros and Joanna Newsom.
