Charity - Not just words
MORE THAN JUST WORDS...
In addition to our chosen FSI charities, we donate to a number of other charities and not for profit organisations (NFP). To give you a flavour, some of the charities and NFPs we supported last year include:
- sponsoring the Chairman of Beaverbrooks in his walk for Cancer Research UK: www.cancerresearchuk.org
- donating to Breast Cancer UK: www.breastcanceruk.org.uk
- providing wine and mince pies for a festive shopping event and gallery preview at the Contemporary Applied Arts: www.caa.org.uk
- donating to Leukemiadonate - a sponsored walk for the media profession to raise money for leukaemia sufferers
- supporting a charity lunch for Sports Aid - an organisation that provides financial assistance to Britain 's top amateur sportsmen and women: www.sportsaid.org.uk
- donating to Wateraid - an international charity dedicated to helping people escape the stranglehold of poverty and disease caused by living without safe water and sanitation: www.wateraid.org.uk
- donating to Norwood - Children and Families First - a charity which seeks to provide appropriate services to children and their families facing social difficulties and children and adults with learning disabilities, so that they can achieve their personal goals in life: www.norwood.org.uk
- donating the firm’s computers to I CAN, Jewish Care and Edgware General Hospital when we upgraded our systems: ww.ican.org.uk and www.jewishcare.org
The whole firm supports this initiative which raises money to provide research and help for children with genetic disorders
Every year the firm participates in the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge held in Battersea Park. The world's largest corporate running series continues its long-standing tradition of supporting charities and institutions that contribute to an overall quality of life in the communities the bank serves
