Our people and the firm both take charitable giving seriously. We have a Charity Committee consisting of six members of staff which is chaired by Martin Smith. The committee deals with all requests from staff and clients for donations and other forms of support.
Unfortunately we cannot support every charity but if you review the links on these pages you will see that we do contribute to a wide range of charities and people throughout the firm work tirelessly to support their chosen charity.
Each year the firm selects two charities to focus its fundraising activities towards. The charities chosen are proposed by staff members and then a firm wide election is held.
This year's choices:
FSI has made a commitment to make life better for people where it can in 2007/08 by supporting two charities with fundraising, time, skills and services.
Our chosen charities are:
Helen House and Douglas House
Who provide respite for parent carers and end of life support for families and their ill children

NSPCC
Who provide a better life for children in their care

Every little helps...
FSI is proud to be supporting the 2007 YASH International Golf Day in aid of Cancer Research UK. By supporting this event we are helping YASH reach their target of £10,000 for this very worthy cause.
In addition, we will be sponsoring Norwood’s Annual Dinner. This charity assists young adults and children trying to cope with the break-up of their families, abuse, poverty and disability so they can achieve personal growth and maximum independence.
JP Morgan Corporate Challenge
Always keen for a challenge, the FSI team sprinted through Battersea Park in style (or so to speak). Wearing bright orange T-shirts they ran the 5.6km circuit in perfect conditions, clocking up some impressive finishing times. All entry fees were donated to SportsAid.

It’s all about you
One word sums it up. Thanks. You made it possible. You visited FSILAW.COM. Every time you did since launching on 7 June we donated money to our charities of the year: Helen and Douglas House, and the NSPCC. Our target was to donate £2000.
The media coverage generated by the vibrant website attracted more visitors than anticipated and we reached our target in just one week, news that was well received by both charities.
Vanessa Fay of Helen and Douglas House commented: “We’re delighted FSI have chosen to support our charity this year and that visits to their website have raised so much money so quickly. We look forward to undertaking more initiatives with them during the rest of the year.”
The most popular pages on the site have been the FSI People section and the FSI staff party video. The ‘Look Closer at FSI This Week’ video news-clip and the ‘blinking eye’ are encouraging visitors to delve further into our broad service offering.
But this is only just the beginning. We’re all committed and looking forward to raising more money for these worthwhile causes.
