FSI up close is all about giving you, the browser, background information on the firm: who we are, where we've come from and where we are going to. Most firms can assert that they're wonderful places to work and have the best lawyers and client relationships out there - but can they demonstrate it? As a corporate lawyer I know that being on top of the detail in a deal is just as important as managing the big picture. The same is true of a law firm - when you get to the heart of a firm are they as friendly and approachable as they say they are? Does everyone know where the firm is going? We have included 'the detail' in this section to demonstrate that we are committed to living our marketing soundbites and to ensure that anyone genuinely interested in understanding the heart of our firm is able to do so.

The Evening Standard's Big Black Book is hot off the press listing the most influential people in London this year. In the legal category, that includes barristers, Law Lords, QCs, activists, journalists and solicitors, FSI partner Mark Stephens is quoted as being:
